In a thrilling Sweet 16 matchup against the Creighton Bluejays, the Gonzaga Bulldogs emerged victorious with a final score of 83-65. The game was highlighted by standout performances from Drew Timme and Julian Strawther.

Timme picked a crucial time to have the best game of his career, scoring 30 points on an efficient 13-of-18 shooting from the field. He also contributed with 13 rebounds and four assists, showing off his all-around skills on both ends of the court.

However, it was Strawther who ultimately secured the win for Gonzaga. With just seconds remaining in the game and a two-point lead, Strawther received an inbound pass from Jalen Suggs and drilled a three-pointer to seal their spot in the Elite 8.

"I just had confidence in myself," said Strawther after hitting what would be his only points of the game. "I knew I had to step up for my team and make that shot."

The victory continues Gonzaga's undefeated season thus far, as they look to cement their place as one of college basketball's greatest teams ever. They will face off against either USC or Oregon in their next matchup.

"We know we still have work to do," said head coach Mark Few after securing their spot in the Elite 8. "But we're excited about where we're at right now."
