Jeep has revealed its latest lineup of off-road vehicles at the annual Easter Safari event in Moab, Utah. The new models include an update to the Jeep Wrangler Magneto and two concept cars that pay homage to classic Jeeps from decades past.
One of the most exciting additions to the lineup is a Hemi-powered Scrambler pickup truck. This vehicle is based on the current-generation Jeep Gladiator but features a powerful V8 engine under the hood. With 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, this pickup truck is sure to impress even the most demanding off-road enthusiasts.
In addition to the Scrambler, Jeep also showcased updates to its popular Wrangler Magneto electric vehicle. This model was first introduced as a concept last year but has now been updated with a more powerful battery pack and revised powertrain tuning. The result is an electric vehicle that can tackle tough terrain while producing zero emissions.
Finally, two concept cars were unveiled at this year's Easter Safari event: the Orange Peelz and Farout concepts. The Orange Peelz takes inspiration from classic CJ-5 models from the 1970s and features bright orange paint with retro graphics. Meanwhile, the Farout concept pays tribute to overland camping vehicles from decades past with a built-in rooftop tent and rugged off-road capabilities.
"Every year we look forward to pushing boundaries by unveiling our newest concepts in Moab," said Jim Morrison, Vice President of Jeep Brand North America. "This year's lineup showcases how we continue our longstanding tradition of offering open-air freedom."
The new models are expected to hit dealerships in 2023, giving off-road enthusiasts plenty of time to start saving up for their next adventure-ready vehicle from Jeep.
