'Yellowstone' Star Luke Grimes Teams Up with Jeff Ruby Family to Assist East Palestine Residents

Ohio native and 'Yellowstone' star, Luke Grimes, has partnered with the Jeff Ruby family to help residents of East Palestine. Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton in the popular TV series 'Yellowstone,' is set to visit East Palestine on March 31 along with members of the Ruby family.

The team will be distributing water filters to residents of East Palestine, a village located in Columbiana County that has been grappling with high levels of lead and copper in its water supply for years. The issue was brought into public attention after a group of concerned citizens formed an activist group named 'Water Warriors.'

Grimes, who hails from Dayton Ohio himself, says he is eager to lend his voice and support for the cause. "I am proud to partner up with Jeff Ruby's family for this initiative," said Grimes. "It's important that we raise awareness about issues like these and take action wherever we can."

Jeff Ruby is a renowned restaurateur based out of Cincinnati who owns several restaurants across Ohio including Precinct Steakhouse and Carlo & Johnny. In addition to their culinary endeavors, the Rubys have also been involved in various philanthropic initiatives over the years.

"We are excited about our partnership with Luke Grimes," said Britney Ruby Miller, CEO at Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment. "We believe everyone deserves access to clean drinking water regardless of where they live."

The distribution event will be held at Union Elementary School on March 31 from 3 pm -7 pm EST. The team will distribute free water filters as well as provide information regarding how residents can test their own water for contaminants.

This event comes as a ray of hope for many residents who have long struggled due to contaminated drinking water. With stars like Luke Grimes joining forces alongside dedicated activists such as Water Warriors, it's hoped that this issue will finally receive the attention and action it deserves.
