Donald Trump Faces 30 Counts of Business Fraud in Stormy Daniels Indictment

Former President Donald Trump could be facing up to 30 counts of business fraud as part of his indictment in the Stormy Daniels hush money probe. The charges are currently unknown, but sources familiar with the probe say that Manhattan D.A. has some documents uncovered during the investigation that have not yet been reported to the public.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing and denies having an affair with Daniels. However, reports suggest that he called key allies on Capitol Hill to shore up support before his indictment, including members of House GOP leadership and lawmakers.

As anticipation grows for when Trump hands himself over to authorities amid fears of possible outbreaks of violence or disorder, he and Melania were spotted stepping out in their Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida where a crowd of MAGA supporters sang “God Bless the USA” and waved Trump and MAGA flags.

Meanwhile, Michael Cohen, Michael Cohen, and Alvin Bragg have all issued statements expressing their support for Mr. Trump. Sean Hannity criticized Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for indicting former President Donald Trump on "Hannity" accusing him of throwing the rule of law "to the wind" in exchange for petty political vengeance.

The Quinnipiac poll suggests that while a narrow majority thought accusations against falsified business records and hush money payments were serious; overall 62 percent thought this case was "mainly motivated by politics" rather than law. This will force every Trump challenger to address this issue while risking wrath from supporters who don't take it seriously.

Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested Friday that former President Barack Obama could avoid prosecution by attacking police officers or committing vandalism just like BLM protesters who weren't prosecuted after riots during summer 2020 protests across U.S., despite more than 120 defendants pleading guilty or getting convicted at trial for federal crimes including rioting arson conspiracy etc.

Many Trump supporters were themselves arrested and jailed in Washington D.C. for breaking windows and punching police officers when they violently stormed the US Capitol building on January 6th, 2021. Trump's indictment might affect his chances of running again for President in 2024 as well as put pressure on the GOP leadership to address this issue while risking backlash from their base.
