Donald Trump Faces Up to 30 Counts of Business Fraud in Stormy Daniels Hush Money Probe

Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, could be facing up to 30 counts of business fraud as part of his historic indictment in the Stormy Daniels hush money probe. The charges are currently unknown as the indictment remains unsealed. However, sources familiar with the probe have said that Manhattan District Attorney (D.A.) has some documents that have been uncovered during the investigation but are not yet known to the public.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing and also refuted having an affair with Daniels. Meanwhile, NYPD is preparing for when Trump hands himself into authorities amid fears of possible outbreaks of violence or disorder.

Donald and Melania Trump stepped out in their Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida after news broke about his indictment by a New York grand jury. A MAGA crowd gathered around them, singing "God Bless USA" and waving Trump and MAGA flags.

In response to his impending legal battle, Mr. Trump called key allies on Capitol Hill including members of House GOP leadership and lawmakers to shore up support before his indictment was announced publicly. He told his allies that he plans to fight all charges leveled against him.

Michael Cohen and Alvin Bragg have both issued statements expressing their support for Mr.Trump while Sean Hannity criticized Manhattan D.A., Alvin Bragg for indicting former President Donald on "Hannity." Hannity accused him of throwing away rule law "to wind" in exchange for petty political vengeance adding no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute such a petty case based on weak evidence.

According to a new Quinnipiac poll released recently ,the Stormy Daniels affair may be least politically toxic issue among multiple legal problems engulfing Donald trump .Although narrow majority Republicans considered apparent accusations serious regarding falsified business records and hush money payments; overall 62% thought cases were mainly motivated by politics rather than law. The "witch hunt" narrative will be hammered home on the right in the coming weeks and months as this case drags on.

Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested that former President Barack Obama could avoid prosecution in New York by attacking police officers and committing acts of vandalism, adding Trump should smash some windows, rob a few shops and punch a cop on his way to the DA's office next week. His comments were part of an attempt to highlight wrongly held beliefs that Black Lives Matter protesters who rioted during summer 2020 were never prosecuted for their crimes.

More than 120 defendants across the United States have pleaded guilty or were convicted at trial of federal crimes including rioting, arson and conspiracy. Many of Trump's own supporters were themselves arrested and jailed in Washington D.C after breaking windows and punching police officers when they violently stormed the US Capitol building on January 6th, 2021.

As this legal drama unfolds, it remains unclear how Mr.Trump's political fortunes will play out. Some believe he might make a run for president again while others fear he may end up behind bars if found guilty of any charges against him.
