Denver Voters Block Park Hill Golf Course Development, Leaving Property's Future Uncertain

Denver voters have decided to block the development of the Park Hill Golf Course, a 155-acre site off Colorado Boulevard. The vote leaves the future of the property in limbo as its owners, Westside Investment Partners, return to square one and reevaluate their plans for new developments or alternatives.

A favorable outcome from this vote would have allowed Westside Investment Partners to lift conservation easements on the land and proceed with building hundreds of new homes along with commercial spaces and parks. However, just before voting took place, developers floated an idea for creating a Topgolf-like facility if their initial proposal was rejected by voters. At this time it is unclear whether this concept will move forward seriously.
