The Lincoln-Way District 210 Board of Education (LW) has announced its official results for Tuesday's election, with unofficial tallies and unofficial vote tallies to be released throughout the night. Incumbent Richard LaCien Jr. is among those who filed for a seat on the seven-member board, along with Catherine Johnson, Tessa Quinlan, Gena Sambo, Caitlin Olejnik, Nathan Sandoval,Dana Bergthold Mark Bamman David Collins and Katarzyna A.Topor.
Candidates have said that they want to see improvements within the district for all students and that the district could "be a voice" for everyone in the community. Johnson is running on a platform centered on diversity equity inclusion where she believes there haven't been enough opportunities in past years.
Sandoval wrote in his Patch candidate questionnaire that he plans to prioritize improving education while maintaining core subjects such as reading math science which are critical student success factors but must also be given higher priority when allocating resources towards educational development efforts by local schools boards like New Lenox District 122’s own initiatives aimed at increasing enrollment levels from underprivileged communities through various outreach programs designed specifically targeting these groups thereby helping bridge economic disparities existing
