Seattle-based reputation management company Oggvo has taken home the top prize in this year's Seattle Inno Madness competition. The final round saw Oggvo defeating Opala, a health care data company also headquartered in Seattle.
OggVo specializes in helping clients generate emails and texts to remind customers to leave positive reviews while providing a tool to manage and rectify negative reviews. The goal of the competition was to shine a spotlight on 16 innovative, fast-growing local businesses that were judged based on factors like funding, mission, business focus, and company size.
Maureen Ezekwugo recently took over as CEO of OggVO in November, replacing Sam Cohen Brown. "We are thrilled with our victory at this year's Inno Madness competition," said Ezekwugo. "This recognition is not just for us but is also a testament to the hard work put forth by our dedicated team."
The full list of companies that competed includes an array of diverse startups such as medical imaging firms, barista robot manufacturers, recycling initiatives and more. This event highlights the ever-growing innovation scene within Seattle.
"By showcasing these remarkable companies during the Inno Madness competition," said Sarah Johnson-Moss from Innovation Center Washington (ICW), one of the organizers behind this event; "we have effectively highlighted some exemplary examples of how innovation can drive success across industries."
