The 2023 Health Care Leadership Awards recently recognized three outstanding professionals for their dedicated service and exceptional leadership in the health care industry: Dr. David Alain Wohl from UNC School of Medicine, Dr. James A. Smith III, and Robert L. Wilson Jr., a partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP.

Dr. David Alain Wohl is an esteemed professor of medicine at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine and a renowned infectious disease specialist with years of experience in treating HIV/AIDS patients globally.

"I am honored to receive this recognition," said Dr.Wohl upon receiving his award." I have always been passionate about providing quality healthcare services to those affected by infectious diseases like HIV/AIDS."
