The week of April 10 to April 17 saw a flurry of home transfers across various counties in New Jersey, with median sales recorded for each area. The data was provided by Real Estate Newswire, a service offered by United Robots that utilizes machine learning to analyze national real estate data aggregated by Propmix.
In Warren County, the period's median sale featured a 1,095-square-foot residence on Sunnyview Avenue in Hackettstown, which sold for $262,850. Meanwhile, Mercer County's median sale during the timeframe involved a more spacious property—a 1,631-square-foot abode on Timberlake Drive in Trenton—that fetched $255,000.
Cape May County experienced its own surge of activity over the seven-day span; the county's median sale showcased an even larger home measuring 1,188 square feet situated on East Denver Avenue in Wildwood. This particular piece of real estate commanded an impressive price tag of $500,000.
Gloucester County witnessed slightly fewer transactions than other regions throughout this period—22 total—but still boasted attractive numbers: A Salem Avenue dwelling located within Franklinville accounted for Gloucester’s highest-valued transfer at $270k and encompassed approximately 1,907 square feet.
Lastly—and certainly not least—Burlington County also reported notable figures during this time frame. With its highest-priced transaction coming via Eddlewood Place (Mount Laurel), Burlington logged a sizable sum as well; the residence measured about 1832 square-feet and garnered $325k upon sale.
"This recent set of data demonstrates that despite ongoing global uncertainties related to COVID-19 pandemic and financial markets fluctuations overall local housing market remains robust," said Stephanie Collinsworth from Real Estate Experts Agency.
