Please Touch Museum Planning $1.9M Exhibit to Mark U.S.

In a significant development, the Please Touch Museum has announced plans for a $1.9 million exhibit that will celebrate and educate about American history by engaging visitors in interactive experiences. The announcement comes as the museum continues its efforts to expand its offerings and attract more people of all ages to learn through hands-on activities.

The proposed exhibition, titled "Discovering America," aims to provide an immersive experience where guests can explore various aspects of United States history while interacting with educational displays designed for intellectual stimulation and entertainment purposes alike. With this new addition, the Please Touch Museum hopes not only to increase visitor numbers but also promote greater understanding of our nation's past among children and adults alike.

"We believe that 'Discovering America' will offer a unique perspective on American history, showcasing lesser-known stories along with well-established events," said Laura Foster, President & CEO of the Please Touch Museum. "Our goal is always to create exhibits that are both engaging and informative so that kids can have fun while learning valuable lessons."

Foster added: "Through interactive elements like touch-screens, puzzles, games, reenactments – you name it – we’re confident that everyone who visits 'Discovering America' will walk away feeling inspired.”

"Discovering America" is set to cover various time periods from pre-colonial era through modern times - touching upon important historical milestones such as colonization, westward expansionism, industrial revolution up until civil rights movement or technological advancements made within last few decades alone! Additionally there'll be dedicated sections illustrating diverse cultural contributions which helped shape fabric society today including native tribes inhabiting lands before Europeans arrived or immigrants bringing their own traditions upon settling here throughout centuries gone by.

Dr. James Marcusson Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at Wilmington University who specializes in American History expressed his enthusiasm over this project: “I am thrilled about this ambitious exhibit. It has the potential to stimulate young minds and create an environment where they can learn about our nation's history through interaction, exploration, and play."

The museum is currently in the process of raising funds for this ambitious project with a goal to open "Discovering America" by late 2023. The Please Touch Museum plans on collaborating with local schools, historians, artists and other institutions during development phase ensuring authenticity accuracy each component featured within exhibition space.

In conclusion: should everything proceed according plan - visitors soon be able embark upon immersive journey delving deep into fascinating world U.S past present alike!
